Got a lot of little stuff done at the end of October! Most exciting is starting the flooring 🙂
There will be an open house in about a month at Newport Hardware. Details soon!
It’s amazing what I can fit in my car sometimes. This is all the wall trim and some railings for the lofts.
A little rehab on that weird corner cabinet.
Windowsill installation- dormer window
Sill on another dormer window
Sill on the loft window
And another dormer window
Slowly installing the window trim.
And here is said trim, freshly stained
Dormer window 1 finished
Dormer window 2 finished
Dormer window 3 finished
Good view of two beside each other
The other side, all windows trimmed out
It was night, but this is the loft window also finished (managed to find enough oak to do this one entirely)
Tested a piece of wall trim. Not bad!
Quirky shelf I found. Needs some love…
Knocked off the broken top
Painted to match the closet doors
Small boards of reclaimed wood I’m putting on the loft
Facade for the loft support.
And done. I think it looks nice!
Railing for the sleeping loft…naked
Stained railing for loft.
Closet doors – taping out lines for chalkboard paint
Chalkboard paint in progress
Accent wall. I just had to try one panel in darker stain. The rest will remain lighter.
Cork for the other door
Came out pretty good!
Stained trim to go around the cork and chalkboard
Finally started the front door trim
It’s dark, but it does look really nice
Door 1 trimed
One closet door with chalkboard paint and one with cork. Easy solutions for tiny houses.
Railings for the storage loft
Dad and I finally finished the pickling stain on all the wall and ceiling
We also added a luan panel above the door to match everything else (it was just plywood from the storage loft before)
View from up in the storage loft
Pile of flooring
Naked bathroom floor
Chalk line for the flooring
First boards down!
Stopping here for the day
Looks yummy 🙂
